There is absolutely no doubt about the fact that tacos are absolutely everything in Mexico, and it is one of the first things that I will seek out when I get down there. I visit Mexico about twice a year, as I have a very good friend down there, Rose Burillo, who I love to go and see. We have created a tradition now which means that as soon as I arrive, we make a beeline for my favorite tacos.

Even within each area such as fish, meat and plant-based, there are such an enormous range of choices which you have when you decide to get some tacos. This means that regardless of what someone’s personal preference may be, there are certainly tacos for all.

Tacos are undoubtedly popular because of the fact that they are so cheap to buy. Prices range of course but you will never hear anyone tell you that they purchased a high cost taco, this is just something that doesn’t happen. This makes the snack perfectly affordable for everyone and it is yet another reason why it is the nation’s favorite meal option.

And finally it is worth pointing out the fact that these delicious little parcels of joy are absolutely simple to eat. These can be enjoyed without a knife, a fork and even a plate! This makes eating tacos a much nicer experience and one which feels so much nicer. We love finger food and actually eating with your hands gives the snack an extra layer of enjoyment.
There is no doubt that tacos are the most popular dish in Mexico and this popularity has also extended to the US and to the wider world.
